By creating an account or using Tek Def you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
3. Credits and billing
- Tek Def operates on a credit-based model. 1 credit = €0.10 (or the equivalent in supported currencies at the current exchange rate).
- Minimum purchase is 50 credits.
- Credits do not expire while the account remains active.
- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the platform.
- Applicable taxes are added at checkout where required.
4. Service description
Tek Def provides AI-assisted analysis of scientific literature. Outputs are provided \"as is\" and are intended to support — not replace — professional judgment. You are responsible for validating results before publication or clinical/commercial decisions.
5. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tek Def for internal research purposes. You retain ownership of the content you upload and of the outputs generated for you.
6. Acceptable use
Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that violate it.
7. Intellectual property
The Tek Def platform, software, models, brand and documentation are owned by Tek Def or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
8. Third-party content
Tek Def links to and analyzes third-party scientific content. We do not claim ownership of that content and its use remains subject to the publisher's terms.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tek Def is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that outputs will be error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Tek Def in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Unused credits may be refunded in line with our Refund Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tek Def is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email.
